For the first time since I started writing my blog over a year ago, I've sat down and I'm struggling to decide what to write about. I have many blogs half written in the pipeline but for various reasons, they're unfinished.
Mostly this week, it's a lack of headspace to consider what I want to write about with multiple other secret little projects which will come to the fore in the not so distant future.
I have however made a commitment that I would put blog out every week (excluding holidays) and I don't want to break that chain. I want every blog to be the best it can possibly be but sometimes, in the words of Seth Godin, we just have to ship the work (see The Practice, an excellent read, like anything by Seth).
This blog is just one of those, it may be lacking in novelty, style, poise or missing a catchy little metaphor, but it's done and it's shipped and it's on to the next thing.
